How to create that bold and contemporary bachelor pad look that will reflect a stylish and charismatic nature

Although a common thought is that interior design usually falls to the women there is nothing more appealing than a man who understands and appreciates interior fashion and has the ability to execute it perfectly in the home.

This will be your accent colour, by this we mean it should not be used in mass as this can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing, instead we use a bold colour in small quantities to lift or add a bit of punch to the decor so it doesn't look flat, unexciting and washed out.

Depending on how daring you are the accent colour can be used in your sofas, occasional chairs and dining chairs or if the idea of owning a purple sofa scares the living daylights out of you then you can just stick to using this colour in your sofa cushions, curtains, artwork, home accessories and kitchen utensils. Introducing this burst of colour allows you to keep your furniture quite simple and therefore timeless so all you really need to do in the future if you get bored is change your accent colour.

Simplistic designs in your furniture only compliment your accent colour pieces further.
